A fantastic and exciting internship is now available at the British Postal Museum & Archive. We need an ambitious and motivated person to research, interrogate and document a comprehensive list of relevant grant giving trusts and foundations in the UK that the BPMA could seek funding from.
Founded in 2004, The British Postal Museum & Archive cares for the archive and museum collections of Royal Mail. Our Designated Public Record Archive and Museum Collections range from sheets of Penny Blacks, posters and 1930s films, to mobile post offices and telegrams from the Titanic. We are currently working on a major relocation project to find a new home for the museum and archive.
The intern will gain experience of fundraising research for a heritage institution as well as working for a project team. An internship at the BPMA is a great opportunity for anyone wanting to work in the museums/archives and heritage sector.
Based in Central London, this position is unpaid but travel from zone 1-6 and up to £5 per day for lunch will be paid upon the production of a receipt.
