Hi Dorothy
I'm familiar with one pool in Ireland that has a moveable floor. This can
be used to eliminate the 'deep end', so the entire pool is shallow. I
believe it can also be used to speed up entry to the pool where there is a
group of people with disabilities using the pool during a session. The
hoist can only take one person at a time. As I understand it, they move the
floor to its highest setting to let people into very shallow water, using
the existing steps and then lower the floor for the swim session.
I'm not sure I really understand your question, as I don't see the
connection between the steps and the floors. Maybe you could expand your
query?
Best regards
Shane
