This sounds parallel with Patanjali's Yoga Sutras. Always good to hear
yogic/magic powers treated as a serious practical benefit to humankind:
Preface to the Second Edition, 'that coming Great Age of a New Science,
when, at last, the war-drums shall be stilled' through a transcendent way of
knowing.
I am always puzzled when people who have never attempted to practice
yogic/magic techniques stamp them with disclaimers such as, "yogic fliers
are only doing a physical feat." The experience is of the mind propelling
the body weightless through the air. This is done through a
trinitarian/tripartate mental process whereby contemplation of the
relationship of opposites is surrendered/sacrificed on the Ground of Silence
(the transcendent). The experience of bliss that arises from human union
with the Absolute, not flying about, is the primary goal.
So, my translation of and commentary on 'De Magia naturali' is from a
practitioner-scholar's perspective.

Verse 3.22 '. . . may we practice in all future eons . . . By the
empowerment of the truth of the Three Jewels, may it all be accomplished in
that way!'
