SPOTLIGHT: LAW OF THE LANDPresident Obama today is expected to sign the Senate health reform bill into law during a late-morning ceremony at the White House and then attend a celebratory event at the Department of the Interior. Administration officials have said the signing ceremony would be used to demonstrate the benefits of the reform bill, as part of a newly launched public relations campaign to promote the overhaul. Following the ceremony, the Senate is expected to begin debate on the so-called "corrections" bill that would amend the overhaul legislation. Obama plans to visit Iowa City, Iowa, on Thursday to promote the legislation. (story
