The Department of Radiology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital,
Harvard Medical School, has an opening for a position for a Postdoctoral
Associate to support its Functional Neuroimaging Program.
Responsibilities include conducting rapid applications development of
an interactive and integrative software system for streamlined brain
imaging data processing, analysis and visualization procedures and
providing statistical and programming support.
Candidates should have a doctoral degree or equivalent degree in
Biomedical, Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science,
Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Physical Sciences or a closely related
field; must have knowledge of statistics and programming skills with R,
S-Plus or SAS; or have strong background in pattern recognition,
optimization algorithms, computer vision, and machine learning
methods; must be proficient in C, C++ or C#, MATLAB or Python,
experienced in multi-threading, OpenMP, or MPI, and associated parallel
libraries in a research application software development environment
utilizing high performance computing (HPC) clusters and parallelization
algorithms.
