Yes, to back up Peter here, the current issue of Elecsographia has just gone up - including my very own "Tree Haptics" with a little essay, as well. For me it is very gratifiying to see a number of writers coping with "haptics" as an operative term for the making of their work (Helps take one of my obsessions out of the woods!)
If you go to the site right now (url below) you will a real time video of Sarah Saunders making a big piece - started this sunrisethat will finish sunrise tomorrow. The video provides a wonderful tangible sense of physical process and material - more like being in a woodshop than a workshop! Go to:

Very intriguing site Doug, it is absolutely clear to me that there is
another 'thing' that controls most thoughts, most thinking and keeps us in
illusion.
Have you seen Michael Jacobson's Blog - "The New Post-literate: A Gallery Of
Asemic Writing" http://thenewpostliterate.blogspot.com/
His weblog "explores asemic writing in relation to post-literate culture"
and is well worth exploring the archives.
Thanks for posting that link,
