The National Association of Mining History Organisations (NAMHO) will
be holding the second of its mining archaeology seminars at the
Snibston Discovery Centre in Leicestershire on Saturday 10 April -
10:00 for a 10:30 start. The seminar is part of the Research
Framework for the Archaeology of the Extractive Industries and will
include presentations on Mining and Quarrying in Leicestershire (Fred
Hartley), the archaeology of ore dressing (Marilyn Palmer), the alum
industry on the North Yorkshire coast (David Pybus) and quarrying
archaeology (Ian Thomas).
The seminar is free and lunch is provided but I would like to know
