Lecturer in Publishing, Department of Information Science, Loughborough University

Salary: £32,620 to £35,646 per annum or £36,715 to £43,840 per annum
You will be required to undertake research in the publishing field and to teach on the BA (Hons) Publishing with English programme. You will give lectures and tutorials; supervise projects, dissertations and postgraduate research students and will be involved in administrative duties within the Department
You will possess excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills and by the start of the appointment, hold a doctorate within the publishing field. Applications are welcomed from those with research expertise including the history of publishing, along with other research interests in the publishing, electronic publishing and bookselling sectors. You should demonstrate a record of and commitment to research of the highest calibre and to disseminating this research in quality academic publications.
The post is available with effect from 1 September 2010.
