italian-studies: Scholarly discussions in any field of Italian studies
Dear Gloria,
Please let me understand.
1. Julia Holloway said "One can give up being an academic while
continuing to be a scholar"
2. Gloria asks "Can one be an academic without being a scholar... (...)?"
What is supposed to give in? The scholar or the academic? It is a very
important question and I want to know its precise terms.
Thanks
Andrea M.
