Hi Simon,
Asking users to install a specific X11 version would be a bad idea (ie make installation even more tricky), so we just stick with the generic X11 that comes with the Mac developer tools. We can work out what you've got from the OSX version number (for example Leopard is 10.5 and I'm on Snow Leopard 10.6). Although it now looks that as we're all (Mac AND Linux users) getting this, the error must lie elsewhere! I wonder if anyone has had this problem with the Windows version!?
Also - it does look like (at least these three crashes) this happened when people were assigning or similar. This possibly implies that peak labels would be changing so maybe related to that - I'll investigate further!
