Deputy Library Manager - Willesden Green Library Up to £30,396 p.a. inc. Ref
No: 12009 (Fixed-term, maternity cover for 9 months with possible extension)
The post holder will be responsible for the day to day operation of our flagship
library. You should have a proven capacity to deliver a high quality customer-
focused service. Effective leadership, team work, good communication skills
and ensuring value for money are key requirements of the post. The role will
also involve driving a series of performance and quality initiatives. This is an
operational role with strategic responsibility and you will be required to work
evenings and weekends.

Library Co-ordinator
Up to £30,396 p.a. inc. Ref No: 12010
(1 year fixed-term with possible extension)
We are looking to appoint a highly motivated person with responsibility for co-
ordinating borough wide service provision to children, young people, adults and
families. The post holder will join the Cultural Development Team and report to
the Libraries Development Manager. You will plan the delivery of exciting and
innovative events and activities, train, develop and motivate Development
Officers, identify gaps in current provision, evaluate services and help achieve
identified targets in the service operational plan. Working with a range of
internal and external organisations the post holder will have excellent reader
development and communication skills (verbal and written). The post holder
must have good IT skills and be able to work to targets and deadlines.
Relevant experience developing reading and learning services for children,
young people, adults and families in a multi-cultural environment in public
libraries or a related field is essential.
