Hi Mogg, can you tell me more about Vivienne's Inanna workshopping? Only
because I think the Wiccan God and Goddess have similarities to Inanna and
Dumuzi - except that Dumuzi was mortal.
Thanks,
~Caroline.

Dear Friends
PS: S'pose should acknowledge the very intelligent approach of
Gardnerian Vivienne Crowley
who has been lecturing and workshopping on
the topic of Babylonian myths of Innana for years now and is currently
organising a
special session with London witches on "The Emerald Tablet" -
Jez: I think the term Pagan (as I have defined it) is unavoidable really -
so why keep resisting : ) - yes there are shades of meaning within it
but its one always falls back on it in times of need -
and there is a reason - not least of which our pagan ancestors whose
memory should imo be respected.
btw: Although many Hindus use the term perhaps for same sort of reasons
we use "pagan"
- i believe its Persian shorthand for the inhabitants of the
sub-continent -
which has its own complex terminology -
ie: followers of the "sanatama dharma" for the pedantic : )
