If you go to http://www.techdis.ac.uk/development/xerte/MAXOS/ and
download the zip file, unzip it onto a blank memory stick then you'll have a
copy of both local USB-running Xerte and Moodle with a couple of sample
Xerte objects, one of which is embedded in a Moodle course running from the
USB stick.
There's a video in the same folder at
http://www.techdis.ac.uk/development/xerte/MAXOS/ showing how to get it
running. One of the key things is turning off skype since it uses the same port.
The video production quality is rubbish - I had ten mins to do it - but it may
be better than no video (which was the alternative!).
There's also one of our monthly Getxerte Friday sessions at
www.instantpresenter.com/techdisonline104 tomorrow at 1pm GMT if you
want to join us. It's using Online Toolkits to make your first learning object.
