I am comparing two conditions, Con A and Con B.
In case of Con A > Con B, activated areas may be caused by two reasons.
1. Con A produced absolutely higher signals than Con B. (e.g., 40>20) - this is
okay, but...
2. Even though Con A was not significantly activated, Con B was deactivated
and this leads to the activations which seemed to be more activated in Con A.
(e.g., 0 > -20). This situation? no good.
I want to get rid of possibility of #2.
I want to compare Con A and Con B, but only among those areas where "Con
A > baseline & Con B > baseline."
What should I do? Any ideas?
Thanks in advance.
