IDEAL 2010
IDEAL is an annual conference dedicated to emerging and challenging topics
in intelligent data analysis and engineering and their associated learning
paradigms. Previous successful IDEAL conferences include Daejeon (2008),
Birmingham (2007), Burgos, (2009, 2006), Brisbane (2005), Exeter (2004),
Hong Kong (2003), Manchester (2002) and Hong Kong (2002, 1998). The 11th
International Conference on Intelligent Data Engineering and Automated
Learning (IDEAL 2010) will be held on 1st ¡V 3rd September 2010 in the
University of the West of Scotland, on its Paisley campus which is 15
kilometres from the city of Glasgow.
The 11th International Conference on Intelligent Data Engineering and
Automated Learning (IDEAL 2010) provides an interesting opportunity to
present and discuss the latest theoretical advances and real-world
applications in Intelligent Data Engineering and Automated Learning.
As in the past, the IDEAL 2010 proceedings will be published by Springer as
Lecture Notes in Computer Science Series and promising authors will be
invited to submit extended versions of their papers to the International
Journal of Neural Systems.

Paper Submission
Manuscripts must be written in English. All submissions will be refereed by
experts in the field based on originality, significance, quality and
clarity. All contributions must be original, should not have been published
elsewhere and should not be intended to be published elsewhere during the
review period. Accepted papers will be included in IDEAL 2010 Proceedings
that will published by Springer Verlag in the prestigious LNCS Series.
All papers must be initially submitted in electronic PDF format using the
online paper submission system on conference website
(http://ideal2010.ucc.ie/index.html). Papers should not exceed 8 pages and
must comply with the format of LNCS/LNAI Series. Please visit Springer
website for the paper format on

Special Sessions
Special Sessions are organised and chaired by senior researchers who have
knowledge of, and a special interest in, the topic of the session.
Researchers who would like to organise one or more Special Sessions on
topics falling within the scope of the Conference are invited to submit a
proposal for consideration. The researchers interested should visit our
website for more information about call for special session proposals.
