Peter, to use a painting term, this would out you as a colorist.
(Struggle with colour, give up on the formal theory, restrict pallettes,
let colour go its own way. A perfect definition of a colorist.)I have
never really thought about colour with media arts and screen based
works, so it has given me quite a lot to think about.
It would make an interesting project for a grad student in the media
arts area.
Also, treatment of colour in poetry since the 60s would be worth a look
at.
Albers sounds very close to Itten, who I got. best, cj
