Ah well, Alison,
The more places one goes, the odds are, of course.............and indeed
travel is stressful---far more than we say or think. Now I understand why
some folk walk around airports zombielike, headphones plugged in. Like on a
really bouncy airplane, in airports I tend either to 'shut down' as if
sleeping, or sing loudly when really freaked out.
The "losing" wallet thing, though, is like my mom who used to put the odd
Valuable Thing in a place "where it's safe and I won't forget it" after
which she forgot the safe place. The bottom line: putting something secure
in a NEW place isn't all that easy, particularly if you're as mobile and
portable as a cellphone. *Pockets* is one good answer........and never
taking off one's jeans.
Best,
Judy
