We are seeking a highly motivated scholar, committed to excellence in
teaching and research, to join the Department of Film Studies. St
Andrews is one of the UK's leading centres for research in Film Studies,

in 2005, and a postgraduate M.Litt. in Film Studies in 2006.
This position contributes to the long-term growth of the Department, and
is created in the context of Professor Dina Iordanova's secondment as
Provost of the University.
You will be expected to take on a key role in this dynamic unit in

strong research culture. We are open to applicants with expertise in
any area within the field, and would particularly welcome expertise in
transnational or world cinemas. Experience of teaching/supervision and

the position.
