The following on behalf of Fabrizio Nevola; see also the attached flyer
for further details:
This is to let you know that the Street Life and Street Culture
AHRC-funded network (see www.bath.ac.uk/ace/Streetlife/) is holding its
next study day event on 19 March at the University of Bath. This study
day considers themes to do with surveillance and technology as they
impinge upon and inform the public space of the street.
As with our previous events, we have organised a day focussed around a
series of themed sessions, but with a strong emphasis on discussion. You
are therefore invited not only to attend our meeting, but also to
participate in the discussion, which will make up a part of each session
as well as the closing round table that ends the day.
As numbers are limited, and we have already had considerable interest
shown in the event, we would ask that you pre-register by email to
Claire Hogg ([log in to unmask]). If you require further information,
please visit the website or write to me instead ([log in to unmask]).
When you have registered you will be sent further details about how to
get to venue at the university. The event is free, but we do ask for
pre-registration.
We do hope to see you!
Best wishes,
Fabrizio Nevola and Georgia Clarke
