Poetry and Voice, creative and critical conference, University of

Confirmed guest speakers: Carol Ann Duffy, UK Poet Laureate; Brian
Turner, modern American war poet; David Constantine, poet and editor of
Modern Poetry in Translation; Philip Gross, winner of the 2010 T.S.Eliot
Prize; Helen Dunmore, poet and novelist; Richard Murphy; Rajeev Patke;
Jane Griffiths.
There will be poetry readings, academic papers, panel events, hybrid
pieces (reading/paper), workshops, talks by poetry presses and editors.
We want to celebrate and question the notion of voice. We would welcome
a proposal from you.
