“Life behind bars”
The Career Development Group North Eastern Division invites you to our
Annual General Meeting which will be followed by a talk from Luke Burton, who
will discuss his work at HMP Durham where he works within Prison Library
Services.
He will clarify the role of prison libraries and outline how the service is
currently engaging with prisoners.
Find out about what goes on in a prison library, his role and the initiatives
within the library.
The Division extends a warm welcome to all, come along and find out what
the Career Development Group is all about, and meet some new people.
The event is free, and refreshments will be provided.
