Afternoon all,
Please can anyone supply us with a copy of the following programme, our
copy has gone AWOL...
TITLE: The Somme
BROADCAST: Monday 14 Nov 05, 21:00 (130 mins)
CHANNEL: Channel 4
DESCRIPTION: Docudrama recounting the bloodiest day in British military
history. An eyewitness account of the battle of the Somme is recreated
through the letters, diaries and journals of the men who took part. On
the 1st of July 1916, British troops launched an attack against the
Germans to break the war's stalemate. However, the plan was fatally
flawed with 20,000 troops killed and nearly twice that number injured as
they charged into German artillery, which should have been destroyed by
British barrage
I believe it was first shown in 2005 but has been repeated since then on
More4.
Can anyone help? We hold an ERA licence and blank media will be
supplied in return.
Yours hopefully,
Jenny
