Hi
Many thanks for all of your responses.
The Carbon Trust dont do a specific audit or guidance on librarys. ECC have
been in contact with them for years, and we are fully aware of what they can
and cannot do infortunately. as for buying so called "Clean Energy", i
personally feel it is not a long term solution, and the additional price per kWh
could be used to pay for improvements, suitable for the long term.
I will investigate into Leicester and Coventry Universitys, it does seem that
many of the Uni's have introduced new build librarys to a high standard of
style, and not always actual function. It is, as said, often the peoples personal
habits that change the consumption of a building, and not the building itself.
Many thanks again though!
