To be launched on 1 March 2010
As the pioneers of study skills publishing for well over a decade, Palgrave
Macmillan are delighted to announce another new landmark innovation in the
field with the launch of a major new interactive and online course:
skills4studycampus.
The course has been developed by the team behind The Study Skills Handbook –
the UK’s bestselling student text – and includes Stella Cottrell and an
advisory board of study skills and online learning experts from a range of
universities across the UK.
skills4studycampus is designed to support the needs of students across all
departments and subjects and focuses on four core areas:
* Writing skills
* Referencing and plagiarism
* Reading and note-making
* Critical Thinking Skills
It offers students access to a wide variety of interactive material
including diagnostic tests, activities and assessment exercises. Each module
has been carefully designed to meet the diverse needs of a range of students
– from school leavers to mature students to those with English as a second
language. Skills4studycampus can be used for class-based teaching, blended
learning or as a self-study resource. Furthermore, tutors can enrol their
students on the course and track their individual progress.
With 24/7 access and the capacity to cater for unlimited simultaneous users,
skills4studycampus supports students study and offers them the opportunity
to learn how they like, when they like, wherever they have internet access.
