Erm. I'm not sure I quite understand how you're doing this - surely
the actual storage itself will be static and on big disks?
So, unless your storage is on a SAN type infrastructure, it seems that
this wouldn't help much - the pool node is tied to the physical
hardware attached to each RAID array. (And, therefore, VM-ized pool
nodes are equivalent to taking disk images for restore.)
