Paul,
Great to hear it went well.
The NHS does work... much of the time, for many people.
I'm glad it exists when it makes sick people better, cares for people
it can't cure, or does something genuinely medical to stop well
people getting ill - in other words when it behaves like a National
Illness and Care Service.
Unfortunately it doesn't work quite as well as it should, quite as
often as it should, and it now costs the country money we will
struggle to afford. For all that I hope it will continue in some
recognizable form.
