As far as I know you can be on a performers list in England, all the
ones in Scotland, another one in Wales and the NI one all at the same time.
In Scotland you nominate a host board, to which you apply, usually where
you work most, and that automatically gets you on the lists of any other
boards you want. Host board asks you to tick off the others you want and
the host board notifies the others.
I think in England you apply to one and if you want to work in another
PCT then PCT no 2 checks with no 1 if you are kosher and if so, gives
you permission to work. This does kind of imply that you can be on two
or more at the same time......
Re Cornwall's behaviour, I kind of thought that some kind of GP
qualification or exemption therefrom was mandatory for EU doctors
working in the UK.
Am I right in thinking that he got on the Cornwall PCT list and then was
able to get on the Cambs PCT list solely by virtue of being on the
Cornish one?? And that the Cambs PCT did no checking at all??
