*Workshop on the Geographies of Mental Health*

You are cordially invited to a 1-day workshop entitled “Geographies of
Mental Health”. Hosted by the Human Geography Research Group at the
University of Edinburgh, this workshop will take place on Thursday, 22nd
April 2010 in the Old Library, Institute of Geography, Drummond St,
Edinburgh. The workshops begins with refreshments at 10.30am followed
by the first seminar at 11.00am. The workshop will be structured around
four themes: social environments; economic environments; natural
environments; and caring environments. Each presentation will last for
30 minutes with an additional 15 minutes for questions and discussion.
In a closing session, two discussants will provide a synopsis and
reflections on the various issues that were raised. The seminar will end
with an opportunity to consider research priorities and possibilities in
relation to the day’s theme, followed by a drinks reception at 17.00.
