RESEARCH SCIENTIST (3 YEAR FIXED TERM)

PURPOSE OF ROLE:
The main role is to undertake epidemiological research contributing to specific time limited projects over a three year period. Projects will be undertaken using the General Practice Research Database (GPRD) and other database resources from the UK and elsewhere. The role will involve the undertaking of specific tasks including administration, data management, statistical analysis, report writing and documentation. The work will be within the overall GPRD Research Team and under the guidance of a project leader for the specific projects involved. Registration for a PhD will be encouraged with the aim of completing this within the term of the contract.
