Hello
Fortunately we pay our bursaries regardless of whether the income has been
verified or not. It's unfair to make the students suffer because their
information hasn't been fully processed.
The problem that I have found is every time I try to run the pended payment
report I get nothing other than the headers come up. All the examples I
have given so far I have been told they wouldn't have been on the report
because of some reason or another but I can't believe I wouldn't get any
come up on the report at all!!
Has anyone else found this?
Many thanks

Hi Helen
We have more than usual here at Staffs too and we won't be paying ours
until status changes to "verified"...we are telling students to call the
help-line to find out what information is missing and they are being
told everything is fine and to contact the University!...when WE ring on
behalf of the student we are being told it is missing NI numbers /
sponsor information or that the student hasn't signed the
declaration!!!...WHY they're not telling the students this when they
ring I don't know!!!...

Just wondering if anyone else is having this problem.
This year, about half of our first year grant-eligible students are
still
evidence non-verified and unless this changes in the next week we won't
be
paying them the bursary at the end of this month. Is this the case for
anyone else - more non-verifieds than usual - and are you paying
anyway/have
you raised it with SLC?
About 10% of our list can be explained by CYI students - I'm not sure
about
the rest and have asked our relationship manager to look into it.
Thanks in advance
Helen
