Hi Fiona
I don't personally but there was a post earlier today that links to Bromley's blog on exactly that topic. My recollection is that Edinburgh and Leeds Met also have experience in this area. The Eduserv reports may offer further insights as to whom to approach. Maybe we should arrange a meeting inworld for interested parties?
Best wishes
Peter

Subject: [VIRTUALWORLDS] Open Sim server requirements
Please can you help? I wanted to know if any of you have investigated using
OpenSim and if you have do you know what the server requirements are? I
would like to organise a pilot to compare to Second Life and our IT department
has said that I need to state what the requirements are for the server. Any
advice, point me in the right direction etc, would be very welcome. Thank you!
