Perhaps someone at the seminar will address the reasons for the Report
concentrating on analyses of life expectantcy, illness, etc that show
differences between the 'most deprived' and the 'least deprived'
'neighbourhoods'(!), rather than between each of these groups and the median average. Or indeed differences WITHIN the income groups -- especially important for analysis of possible policy implications for the poorer groups. Perhaps one might draw some conclusions from looking at the long list contributing members of the task groups and working committees, and/or the desire to grab news headlines.
