Not sure if this is what you had in mind Chris, strictly on the mechanical
aspects of landscape photography.

Perhaps this is more of interest.
*The Concept of Space in Twentieth Century Art*

Landscapes and space have totally co-opted my work in the past several
months, and to keep it relevant to the list, it is specifically the poetics
of landscape which is absolutely referencing Bachelard’s “Poetics of space”
and even more acutely Susan Stewart’s “On Longing: Narratives of the
Miniature, the Gigantic, the Souvenir, the Collection”. Aspects of memory,
nostalgia, time past, time present, time future, private and public space,
and how magical miniature private space occurs in the public gigantic
sphere.
