I celebrated by going to a class on the American Luminists, receiving
with purrs Weinberger and Paz's '19 ways of Looking at Wang Wei' and other
goodies, allowing myself to be taken for a meal (like the construction?),
and rising serenely above the latest attack from the local living dead
(which came in the mail).
And accepting your big hug with delight Judy.
I lile your vignette of respect: here certain parties are incapable of that
and what is upsetting is that the half-century and more of a democratic
group run for its members is being written out of consciousness. But that's
happening all round in our institutions.
My commiserations on the discombobulating losses.
