You will find there is a veritable 'industry' of standards-setting.
Who can ever argue against ensuring proper care of patients. So to keep
their jobs, these people must come up with new standards every year, and
so I warn you be ready for far more of this shit.
When I submitted by Membership by Assessment for RCGP I was politely
told that my green FIRE EXIT sign wasn't up to standard as there was no
'running man' image on it.
Re-validation will open the doors for a whole army of RCGP approved
assessors to tell you how to blow your nose [and sell you the approved
tissues to do it ].
In case anyone thinks it is sour grapes from an ex-pat, down here they
have already done it! 'Accredited' practices earn a heap more money -
and guess what? The standards get more and tighter every year.
