Dear Colleagues,
The School of European Culture and Languages at the University of Kent intends selectively to support applications in any area covered by the School (Classical and Archaeological Studies, French, German, Hispanic Studies, Italian, Comparative Literature, Philosophy, and Religious Studies) for the Leverhulme Early Career Fellowship scheme (deadline 11 March 2010): http://www.leverhulme.ac.uk/grants_awards/grants/early_career_fellowships/
These early career fellowships would be attached to one of the research centres; in the case of an applicant in German studies, this would probably be the Centre for Modern European Literature (see http://www.kent.ac.uk/secl/researchcentres/eurolit/index.html)
Potential applicants are invited to send in a CV and research proposal to the Head of School, Prof. Laurence Goldstein (L.Goldstein @kent.ac.uk), no later than 12 February 2010. Informal enquiries may be directed to Prof. Goldstein (Head of Department), Dr Shane Weller (Director of Research) or Dr Antonio Lazaro-Reboll (Director of Graduate Studies). For more information on the School, see: http://www.kent.ac.uk/secl/
best,
Ben.
