Hi Larry,
I guess, if all else fails you could make a Freedom of Information request - http://www.foi.gov.uk/yourRights/index.htm
This might be the most efficient way of finding what you want.
Good luck.
Helen

Subject: Searching for obscure official literature
I have been trying hard to find some list of the early proceedings of DPTAC,
in particular a hearing I attended in 1987. Even the secretariat seems to
have forgotten the past, yet the present day is built upon it, and neither
the current specifications for accessible (or is la mot du jour "inclusive")
PSV's and Taxis, nor current legislation on concessionary fares come from
nowhere.
I suppose one ultimately has to resort to deposits in archives such as the
Modern Records Centre at Warwick Uni (where one can find much literature on
the early days of DIG amongst other stuff) or Leeds.
It occurs to me, that in respect of some old papers I have squirreled away
regarding Community Transport and Ring and Ride services in the 1980's and
early 90's I might be the only possessor of a current copy at all and what I
have lost or thrown away has equally been lost to posterity, just like those
AUEW records my brother discovered in a skip when they moved out of there
Coventry HQ.
Where can I find a list of pre 1990 DPTAC reports and proceedings that other
than by writing to their secretariat who do not seem to know. Without this
proper reference I am unable to give a proper citation to a former paper of
mine which is annoying to say the least.
Larry
