The Florence School of Regulation and the Chair Management of Network
Industries are jointly recruiting a Manager to set up and run an initiative on
transport regulation and policy within the Florence School of Regulation. This
will complement the existing energy and telecommunications/media regulation
and policy initiatives (www.florence-school.eu).
The successful candidate will be expected to organize transport regulators
meetings, set up policy events, co-ordinate policy briefs and working papers,
as well as develop research projects and training programs. His or her
responsibilities will also include communication.
The ideal candidate has a PhD in economics, political science or engineering
with a particular focus on transport (railways, roads, air transport) and
experience with the European Commission. Holders of Masters with 10 years of
experience or more in transport can also be considered.
Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
