NPV matter resolved - many thanks to all who answered. Particular thanks to
Richard Allsop for encouraging me to stick with my original conviction.

Subject: [UTSG] Net Present Value?
Could somebody contact me off-list ([log in to unmask]) as I have a very quick
question about the difference between 'net present value' and 'present
value' in a specific context (that I'll share with you)?
I'm 99% sure my understanding is correct, but a number of (pretty
heavyweight) texts I've reviewed appear to confuse the two terms (which has
thrown me) and I'd like my understanding to be 100%.
Thanks,
Rob
Ps. Please don't send me dictionary definitions. I know them. I just want
somebody to look at two short extracts from two reports which, I think,
consistently use incorrect terminology.
