thanks, I've fixed that up. Treeview would get SAMPed if I was
supporting it (maybe I should have a stab at resurrecting it one of
these days, it makes more sense in the SAMP era than it did before).
Which reminds me: you've also probably noticed that I've decoupled
TOPCAT from SPLAT (calling the one from the other never worked very
well, and this functionality is better done using SAMP).
There are various classes in SPLAT that NOTE they are used from
TOPCAT and so shouldn't be altered without care:
% find splat/src/main -name \*.java -print | xargs grep -il topcat
splat/src/main/uk/ac/starlink/splat/data/SpecDataFactory.java
splat/src/main/uk/ac/starlink/splat/data/SpecDataComp.java
splat/src/main/uk/ac/starlink/splat/iface/SplatBrowserMain.java
splat/src/main/uk/ac/starlink/splat/iface/SplatBrowser.java
splat/src/main/uk/ac/starlink/splat/iface/PlotControlFrame.java
splat/src/main/uk/ac/starlink/splat/plot/PlotControl.java
You could remove those comments now.
