The reason for using SPM8 is the higher resolution and the threedimensional presentation of the pictures. As I figured out compared to SPM2 there is a possibility to rotate the pictures to the most interesting site.
I will install the two programs again and try out if there was an interference between the programs.
If there is any possibility to get some threedimensional pictures I would like to try that out.

Mireille

Dear Mireille,
there has been a number of structural changes in the SPM.mat and file format between the two versions so incompatibilities have to be
expected: what are you trying to do and what is the error message? Also, if it's just for visualisation, why don't you use SPM2 for that?
Best regards,
Guillaume.
