This has come up a couple of times on the list and searching the
archives at https://www.jiscmail.ac.uk/cgi-bin/webadmin?S1=spm (in
addition to studying the manual which is commendable ;) may bring up
several posts such as this one
(www.jiscmail.ac.uk/cgi-bin/webadmin?A2=ind0908&L=SPM&P=R5653) where I
tried to answer this. Basically, the simple movements applied to the
image during realign can be stored in the header so there is no need to
reslice the data if you normalize later-on anyway.
Hope this helps,
Marko
