It might be a matlab issue then. I don't remember if there are different versions of Matlab for different OS's, but that could be the problem. Are there any other programs you can test in both OS's? Where are your Matlab and SPM paths? In your Windows partition or Linux partition? Just some things to think about.

I tried to run everything under linux, but I got the error I indicated. Then, in order to see if it was an error of the OS or something related to SPM I repeated in Windows and got no error. I do not understand why I get an error in one os and not in the other using the same SPM and the same datafiles (both in the same location) in the same computer.
All ideas trying to explain the problem will be welcomed. Best Regards,
