Hi Jef
I'm not sure about the errors you are getting, but----Generally you
would include all sessions (i.e., session = continuous scanning
period) within one model; then your contrasts can span multiple
sessions if need be. In general the second level analysis is to look
at group effects and considers the variation of a parameter estimate
across different subjects (i.e., degrees of freedom and error come
from variance across subjects). With one subject this is unnecessary;
you want both coming from the single-subject model, since all you are
interested in is how well your model fit this subject's data.
Hope this helps,
Jonathan

I have 2 conditions for each block with 3 contrast for each block: condition A, condition B, and condition A-B.

Now, since I just installed this most recent update, the analysis just keeps going and going and going. Nothing in the matlab window and no error messages.
