Hi Etherline,
If Excel is not recognising them because it's expecting them to be part
of a mathematical formula (i.e. thinks you're trying to perform
multiplication), if you type a ' (single quotation mark) before your
data in each cell, it tells Excel to treat it as text, not a formula.
That said, if you're looking to submit to a journal you might be better
off creating the table in Word, as most journals would prefer this.
