Dear List,
I am trying to produce a leaflet "Supporting Staff - A Guide for Managers"
Often when writing reports, I have used terms such as:
"Will require a higher level of peer and management support"
mostly it is accepted, but on occasions has been send back...
"I am supporting them"
"What do you expect me to do"
"My door is always open" ---- Just they are never there!
If there are obvious issues theses would be covered in other recomendation;
e.g. shift variation, time off for treatment, reduced workload etc
I have accessed Shift:
"Shift is a Department of Health-funded initiative to tackle stigma and
discrimination surrounding mental health issues in England."
http://www.shift.org.uk/employers/lmr/wellbeing/
which has some good mental health resources,
but I am also looking for other advice / resources,
or the option to review your material if you have already been here.
I would be grateful for your help.
Many Thanks
