The 5th International Conference on Coherent Multidimensional Spectroscopy
will be held in Minneapolis, Minnesota, August 17-20, 2010. Details are
available at the conference web page, http://www.chem.umn.edu/cmds/.
Established in 2002, the first four meetings (in Seoul South Korea, Madison
WI, Rigi Kulm Switzerland, and Kyoto Japan) have rapidly established this
conference as the premier event for scientists developing and applying
state-of-the-art optical, infrared, and THz spectroscopic methods to address
problems in chemistry, biology, physics, and materials science. The rapid
expansion and large scientific impact of coherent multidimensional
spectroscopy have established it as one of the primary tools of the future in
the physical and biological sciences.
The list of confirmed speakers includes John Asbury, Tobias Brixner, Chris
Cheatum, Peter Chen, Minhaeng Cho, Steve Cundiff, Thomas Elsaesser, Greg
Engel, Mike Fayer, Graham Fleming, Peter Hamm, Robin Hochstrasser,
Thomas Jansen, David Jonas, Harald Kauffmann, Munira Khilil, David Klug,
Kevin Kubarych, Aaron Massari, Ian Mercer, Dwayne Miller, Andrew Moran,
Shaul Mukamel, Jennifer Ogilvie, Maxim Pshenichnikov, Igor Rubtsov, Shinji
Saito, Greg Scholes, James Skinner, Tahei Tahara, Yoshitaka Tanimura
Andrei Tokmakoff, Keisuke Tominaga, John Wright, and Martin Zanni.
Registration will open in March. Please mark your calendars and share this
announcement with any potentially interested parties.
