Qualitative Research into hospital practice on whether to resuscitate or not.
Research Assistant: Social Scientist
Pay band 5, 2 ½ year full-time
Department/Ward: Acute Medicine, Addenbrooke's Hospital, and affiliation with The Institute of Public Health, Forvie Site, Robinson Way, Cambridge University
Division: Medicine. Universal Form of Treatment Options group
We are looking for an experienced Research Assistant to join our team investigating a novel alternative to the current Do Not Attempt Resuscitation (DNAR) form used in hospitals. You will take responsibility for the collection and analysis of primary qualitative data, using a mix of semi-structured interviews with inpatients, relatives and hospital staff and observation. You must have a relevant first degree in social sciences and experience of qualitative research on a health related topic.
Whilst this post is full-time, we would welcome an applicant who may be keen in developing this research into a PhD project.
The closing date is the 17th of Feb, and the interview date is Friday the 26th of Feb.
