We are currently re-evaluating the way we manage SFX. It would be really
helpful if we could get an idea of how other institutions manage SFX. I’m
happy to summarise for the list.
How many staff members are directly involved with the maintenance and
development of SFX?
What are the job titles of the staff member(s) responsible for the following
tasks?
• Server maintenance and development
• KB updates
• Work within the admin interface
• Checking of thresholds
What processes do you have in place for ensuring the accuracy of SFX
thresholds?
Do you regularly check thresholds against up-to-date lists of entitlements? If
so, how often?
When large packages are activated, is a manual check done on all objects/on
a selected number?
