Hi,
I have a question regarding using behavioral measures in TBSS. I have two groups of
subjects (patients and controls) and the patients have a measure of disease progression,
which I would like to enter in the TBSS analysis. In order to do so, I calculated the mean of
the disease progression variable for the patients. When setting up the design file in the GLM
I entered the negative mean of disease progression for each of the controls, and disease
progression value for each of the patients. As a result, the column with the disease
progression EV has a mean on zero. Since I would like to see the correlation of FA and
disease progression, I did not separate controls and patients into two groups in the GLM gui,
but instead set the same group number to all participants. Would this be the correct way to
set up this analysis?
Also, when Im running this analysis, it is taking a long time (it has been running for 4
days), whereas a typical TBSS analysis (looking at FA differences between the groups) to
this number of participants takes about 24 hours.
Thank you for your help,
Anastasia
